A scenario is a situation you describe — something that's happened, or something you're worried might happen. For example: "A pipe burst while we were on holiday" or "My bike was stolen from outside the shops". Policy Wayfinder analyses your uploaded policy against that scenario and tells you, in plain English, what your coverage position is likely to be.
Pre-built scenarios are ready-made situations we've written based on common home insurance queries — things like storm damage, escape of water, or theft away from home. Free accounts can select from seven of these. Wayfinder and Wayfinder Plus accounts have access to the full library, including life stage scenarios.
Yes. You can upgrade at any time. Your uploaded policies and saved results are always preserved, whatever plan you're on.
Yes. Your policy documents are stored securely and are never shared with insurers, brokers, or any third party. They are used only to generate your coverage analyses.
Make a claim assistance (Wayfinder Plus only) goes beyond analysis. When something has gone wrong, it reads the claims procedure set out in your specific policy document and helps you understand the process and structure your claim clearly. It does not submit a claim on your behalf, and it does not constitute regulated advice.
The confidence indicator (Wayfinder Plus only) is a five-point scale that shows how clearly and directly your policy addresses the scenario you've described. A high confidence score means the policy language is unambiguous. A lower score means the relevant sections leave more room for interpretation — which is itself useful to know before making a claim.
